The 4 Types of Friends You Need to Have

• The Tissue: This type of friend is the friend who you always go to for advice and sympathy. They’re understanding, caring, and will always help you when you need it. She’s that girl you’ve known since kindergarten, and have always been buddies with. This friend might be sympathetic, but don’t depend on that for too long. Put too big of a load on them, and they’ll think that you’re just a self-centered person, and, well, there goes your human tissue!
• The Nerd: This friend is, well, a nerd! They get straight A’s, but aren’t stuck up about it. Need help in a subject? This is the friend you go to for help. They’ll help you fix your grade right away. Now, not to be stereotypical, but a lot of these “nerds” won’t be into fashion, or celeb gossip. Or, at least that’s the case with my friends. People with a lot of intellect just don’t think celebs or clothes are worth a good portion of their time (me included!). So don’t try to discuss Brittney Spear’s latest scandal with this friend, they’ll just not think that you’re worth their time.
• The Comedian: This type of friend can always make people laugh, no matter what the situation. Need a pick me up? Go to them, you’ll be sure to laugh and have your spirits lifted! This friend is always goofy and crazy - almost never serious. This can be good, and bad. It’s good because you’ll always be sure to have a good time when you’re around them. It’s bad because you might never be able to have a serious talk with them. Ever. This is not the person you go to for homework help or sympathy. They’ll make fun of you for sure.
• The Model: This is the friend who’s a typical social butterfly. They always know the latest fashion trends and gossip. Definitely the friend you take to the mall! Want to know who’s going out with who? Ask them! This friend is always outgoing and daring. But this friend is definitely more sophisticated. You can’t really make them laugh unless it’s making fun of someone. And they might never find time for you - this friend has a busy schedule.
