I was tagged by Mari to show you a picture of my desktop and five programs I can’t live without. Here’s my desktop:

My background is a guitar wall, which I got off the Internet a while ago. I’m absolutely in love with guitars, and I’m learning how to play one right now. My desktop is really cluttered - I’m too lazy to delete unused programs. Here are the top five programs I can’t live without:

Internet Explorer: Yes, I am one of those few people who love IE. It’s never been problematic for me, and I love how it has tabs. For some reason, Mozilla annoys me. Maybe it’s the color… I don’t know. I’m very sensitive to changes on my computer, and changing to using an orange Mozilla browser would annoy me. Yes, I know. It’s weird. :)

Microsoft FrontPage: I LOVE Microsoft FrontPage. It edits all my HTML code, plus I can preview it easily. The only downside is it doesn’t know how to use PHP. But I create all my webpages in FrontPage.

iTunes: I need my music. I went on a trip with my 8th grade class, and I almost died because we couldn’t bring our iPods. iTunes is awesome! It lets me browse, download songs, plus songs are pretty cheap to buy. :)

Adobe Photoshop: Photoshop can do anything. All hail the almighty Photoshop! :) I make all my layout headers in Photoshop - it’s so easy! The only downside is it costs a lot. A LOT.

Mozilla Thunderbird: This is a program I just acquired recently. It’s an email program, and it’s great. I can highlight names of important people so it notifies me when they email me, I can tag things, and overall it just helps me be very organized with my emails.

There’s my top five!

Oh, and some site stuff. The contest is up (and has been), so please enter! I also finished revising the opinion page and the music page.

You’re an IE user? I never knew that! I personally hate IE, but that’s just me.

I’ve heard of Thunderbird before, but I don’t use it. Yahoo is fine for me.

Going to check out the new pages now…

Just so you know, you can add themes to Firefox and make it look however you want. I may download a theme to turn mine all pink. Or you can have a theme that makes it look like IE. And it has tabs too ;)
But if you want to use IE, that’s fine with me.
I’ve heard of Thunderbird, but I didn’t know anyone who used it. When you use it, does your email stay the same? Is it still something like blank@comcast.net, or is it blank@mozilla.com?

@ Mari: Yea, I guess I have the outdated version of Mozilla… :)
You can keep your email address the same, as long as you know the outgoing and incoming server address (you can find it on your email host’s site), like for Comcast, it’s mail.comcast.net and smtp.comcast.net. If you include that, and type in your username and password, your email stays the same. :)

FF isn’t orange… Also, I hate Frontpage since its coding is generally invalid and outdated. But whatever floats your boat, I guess. Love the desktop; those guitars are so cool!
